Aviva has teamed up with RiskEye to provide online risk and reputation solutions for cyber insurance customers.
The new service has been integrated into Aviva’s cyber proposition as astandard feature and provides businesses with 24/7 support.
Through the new deal, services fi rms can gain access to include platformmonitoring, counselling, social media advice and crisis management.
Stephen Ridley, head of cyber insurance at Aviva, said: “Cyber attacks arewell known for disrupting a business’s operations, but little has beendone to support a business’s reputation in the wake of malicious onlinecomments or misinformation.
”Yet an organisation’s reputation is one of its most valuable assets. That’swhy we wanted to integrate an online risk and reputation helpline thatwill support businesses of all sizes with their online reputation in theface of malicious content.”

The partnership came after Aviva found 39% of businesses were worried about the impact of negative online reviews.

Aviva is offering businesses protection from reputational harm caused by online ad scams, impersonation, fake reviews, misinformation and disinformation through a partnership with RiskEye.
The new service, which has been integrated as a standard feature forall Aviva cyber insurance customers, comes as research shows that negative online reviews are the sixth biggest risk faced by UK businesses.
The RiskEye service provides businesses with 24/7 online risk and reputation support, including how to effectively request the removal of malicious information from social media platforms.
